Website Checker

Check any public page: how fast it responds, how big it is, whether it is served over HTTPS, which security headers it sets, and whether its title, meta description, headings and social tags are in order.

What this checks, and what it cannot

  • It fetches the page once, as a browser would, and reports what came back: how long it took, how big it was, which headers were set and what the HTML says about itself.
  • It does not run JavaScript. A site that builds its title and content in the browser will look empty here — which is roughly what a crawler without rendering sees too, so it is worth knowing.
  • It is not a traffic estimate. Nobody can tell you how many visitors another site gets without buying that data; anyone showing you a number for free is guessing.
  • Public addresses only. Private and internal addresses are refused, which is deliberate: a tool that fetches any address you type is a tool that can be pointed at the inside of the network it runs in.
