Terms and Conditions
The terms on which Omni Academy is made available, and what each of us is responsible for.
These terms are written to be read. They are not a summary of a longer agreement kept somewhere else; this page is the agreement.
1. Agreement to these terms
These terms of use form an agreement between you and Omni Academy, which operates this website (referred to below as we, us or our). They apply whenever you access or use the site, whether or not you hold an account.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Where a particular feature carries additional rules, those rules are presented with the feature and form part of this agreement.
2. Who may use the platform
You may use Omni Academy if you are at least thirteen years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under thirteen, and we will delete any such account we become aware of.
You may read every course, lesson and article on this site without an account. An account is required only for features that are specific to you: progress tracking, quiz attempts and their results, saved notes, and course certificates.
3. Your account
When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account, including choosing a password that you do not use elsewhere and keeping it confidential. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed by somebody else, tell us immediately at support@omniacad.com so that we can help you secure it. We will never ask you for your password by email, in a message, or on any page other than the sign-in form on this site.
You may close your account at any time. Closing an account removes your progress, quiz attempts, notes and certificates, and that removal cannot be undone.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site in any of the following ways.
- To break the law, or to help anybody else break it.
- To gain or attempt to gain access to an account, a system or data that is not yours.
- To probe, scan or test the security of the site or its infrastructure without our prior written permission, or to interfere with its normal operation.
- To place an unreasonable load on the service, including by automated scraping, automated account creation, or repeated requests at a rate that a person could not produce.
- To circumvent, disable or interfere with security features, rate limits, or any mechanism that restricts access or protects content.
- To upload or submit material that is unlawful, that infringes somebody else rights, that contains malicious code, or that is intended to harass another person.
- To misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation.
We may investigate suspected breaches of this section, and may suspend or remove access while we do so.
5. The code playground
This site includes a playground in which you can write and run code. The playground runs entirely in your own browser, inside an isolated frame. Code you write there is not sent to our servers and is not stored by us.
Because the code runs on your device, you are responsible for what you run. Do not paste code you do not understand from sources you do not trust, and do not enter real credentials, personal data belonging to other people, or anything else confidential into the editor. The playground is provided for learning and experimentation and is not intended for processing real or sensitive data.
6. Our content, and what you may do with it
The courses, lessons, articles, diagrams, assessments, design and software that make up this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws.
You may read, print and download material from this site for your own learning, including learning in the course of your employment. You may quote short extracts elsewhere, provided you attribute them to Omni Academy and link to the page you took them from.
Without our prior written permission you may not republish substantial parts of the material, sell or sublicense it, present it as your own work, use it as training material in a paid course or programme, or extract it in bulk by any automated means for any purpose including the training of machine learning models.
Code examples are different, and deliberately so. The code shown in lessons is provided for you to use. You may copy it into your own projects, modify it, and use it commercially, without attribution and without asking. It is provided as teaching material rather than as production-ready software, and section 10 applies to it.
7. Material you submit
Where the site lets you submit something, such as a note attached to a lesson or an answer to a quiz question, that material remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display it for the purpose of operating the service for you, including showing your notes back to you and grading your attempts.
You are responsible for what you submit, and you confirm that you have the right to submit it. We may remove material that breaches section 4.
8. Certificates
When you complete a course and pass its assessments, the site issues a certificate. A certificate records that the holder completed the course and met the pass mark on the assessments at the date shown.
A certificate is not a professional, academic or vocational qualification. It is not accredited by any examining body and confers no formal status. We may verify, correct or revoke a certificate that was obtained in breach of these terms, including by circumventing an assessment.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. Access may be suspended for maintenance, for technical reasons, or because of events outside our reasonable control.
We may add, change, suspend or withdraw courses, lessons and features. Where a change would materially affect material you are part way through, we will give reasonable notice where it is practical to do so.
10. Disclaimers
This site is educational material, provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations that are not expressly set out in these terms, whether implied by statute, common law or otherwise.
In particular, we do not warrant that the material is complete, current, suitable for any particular purpose, or free from error, and nothing on this site constitutes professional advice. Technology moves, and a technique that is correct when written may be superseded. You should exercise your own judgement, test anything you intend to rely on, and take appropriate advice before applying material from this site to a production system or to a decision with consequences.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of or corruption of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, however arising and whether or not foreseeable, that results from your use of or inability to use this site or anything obtained through it.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, from your misuse of the site, or from material you submit through it.
13. Links and third-party services
Some pages link to websites and resources operated by other people. Those links are offered for convenience and are not an endorsement. We have no control over the content of an external site and accept no responsibility for it, nor for any loss arising from your use of it. Where this site uses a third-party service to operate, those services are described in our privacy policy.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, if your use presents a risk to the site or to other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Where it is practical and appropriate, we will tell you why, and give you an opportunity to put the matter right.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 6, 10, 11 and 12, continue to apply afterwards.
15. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the service or in the law. The date at the foot of this page records when the current version took effect. Where a change is material we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that point means you accept the revised terms.
16. General
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms do not create a partnership, agency or employment relationship between us, and a person who is not a party to them has no right to enforce them.
17. Contacting us about these terms
Questions about these terms, including requests for permission under section 6, should be sent to legal@omniacad.com, or through the form on the contact page. Copyright notices, trademark questions and takedown requests are covered separately on the legal notices page.
This version took effect on 5 October 2026.
