How to reach the people who write and run Omni Academy, and which address to use.

Write to us here and the message lands in our inbox directly. If you would rather send an email, every address is listed below and they all reach the same people.

Send us a message

Everything except the subject is required. We reply to the address you give, and we do not add it to anything - there is no newsletter here to be subscribed to by accident.

The more specific you are, the more useful the reply. If it is about a page, the address of that page helps.

We reply to the address you give here. Nothing else is stored - see the privacy policy.

Or write to us directly

We keep a small number of addresses so that your message reaches somebody who can act on it rather than somebody who has to forward it.

  • General questions, feedback and anything you are not sure where to send: hello@omniacad.com
  • Help with your account, sign-in problems, certificates and quiz results: support@omniacad.com
  • Corrections to a lesson, and suggestions for what we should cover: editorial@omniacad.com
  • Privacy questions, and requests to access, correct or delete your data: privacy@omniacad.com
  • Terms of use, copyright, and permission to reuse material: legal@omniacad.com
  • Security vulnerabilities: security@omniacad.com

What to expect

We aim to acknowledge every message within two working days, and to resolve most within five. Privacy requests are answered within one month, as the privacy policy sets out. Security reports are triaged the day they arrive.

A message sent through the form above is stored and read by a person; it is not answered automatically and it is not passed to anybody else. What we keep is what you typed, the address you gave so that we can reply, and the account you were signed in to if you were. The privacy policy says how long that is kept and how to have it deleted.

We are a small team and we answer messages ourselves. There is no automated reply and no ticket queue, which means a clear message gets a useful answer faster than a vague one.

Reporting a problem with a lesson

Corrections are genuinely welcome, and they are the most reliable way this material gets better. To make a correction easy to act on, please include the following.

  • The address of the page, copied from your browser.
  • The sentence or code block in question, quoted exactly.
  • What is wrong with it, and what you believe the correct version is.
  • Where it matters, the version of the language, framework or browser you are using.

If a lesson is wrong we will correct it and say so. If it is a matter of judgement rather than fact, we will tell you what we think and why, and we may add the alternative to the lesson.

Help with your account

Before writing about a sign-in problem, it is worth trying the password reset on the sign-in page, because it resolves most of them immediately. If it does not, write to support@omniacad.com from the address on the account and describe what happens, including any message you see.

We will never ask you for your password, and nobody writing to you from this platform will ever do so. If you receive a message claiming to be from us that asks for one, it is not from us, and we would like to hear about it.

Reporting a security issue

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please write to security@omniacad.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable period to fix it before disclosing it publicly. Please do not access, modify or delete data belonging to other people, do not degrade the service for others, and do not run automated scanning against the site.

We will confirm receipt, keep you informed while we work on it, and credit you when the fix ships if you would like us to. We will not take action against anybody who reports an issue in good faith within those limits.

Press, partnerships and reuse

For permission to republish material, to use the courses inside an organisation, or for anything commercial, write to legal@omniacad.com and describe what you have in mind. Requests to quote short extracts with attribution and a link do not need permission; the terms of use explain where the line falls.

Accessibility

If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us at hello@omniacad.com. Describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and name the assistive technology you use if that is relevant. These reports are prioritised, because a page somebody cannot read is a page that is not doing its job.
